As we are constantly doing our best to develop, on the 17th of  December we took part in the meeting organised by XI Liceum Ogólnokształcące z Oddziałami Integracyjnymi im. Stanisława Staszica. The meeting was intended to inform about possibilities of international exchange and cooperation. There were schools that are going to apply for funding and the ones that are already taking part in either Erasmus+ or PO WER projects. We found out a lot about important issues connected to projects realisation as well as introduced our solutions. It was a well spent and effective time! The students from grade 7e with their English teachers Mrs Iwona Wilk and Mr Mariusz Usowski write Xmas cards to their peers from the partner school in Granada, Spain. The students introduced themselves and offered Christmas wishes. The cards together with some sweet surprise for the Spanish friends - typical Polish sweets - were sent to their school. We hope it's going to be the beginning of a nice exchange of letters and - perhaps - some friendships. Uczniowie klasy 7e pod kierunkiem p. Wilk i p. Usowskiego napisali świąteczne kartki do swoich rówieśników w szkole hiszpańskiej (w Granadzie). Uczniowie przedstawili się i złożyli życzenia świąteczne. Kartki zostały wysłane wraz ze słodkimi upominkami do uczniów szkoły hiszpańskiej, co będzie - miejmy nadzieję - początkiem miłej wymiany korespondencji, a może i przyjaźni.

On the 2nd of October the coordinator together with the school accountant took part in the training organised by Foundation for the Development of the Educational System in Warsaw. The training took place at the Mercure Hotel in Warsaw. The organisers informed about the means of realising the project, rules of financing and reporting. Szkolenie odbyło się w hotelu Mercure w Warszawie. Omówiono sposób realizacji projektu, zasady finansowania i raportowania. Przed nami dużo pracy i jeszcze więcej wyzwań!

On Thursday, October 10, we said goodbye to our dear guests. During the ceremony the students sang Ode to Joy, the European Union anthem in three langueages: grade 2e - in Polish, grade 5b - in English and grade 7e, bilingual - in German. The girls from grade 7a presented the traditional Polish folk clothes and served Polish apples to the audience and the guests. Grade 2e gracefully danced Polonaize. The ceremony was led by Izabela Dale and Jan Mazur from grade 7e. The delighted guests received some gifts connected to our country and region, which will make the visit in our country memorable. W czwartek, 10 października, pożegnaliśmy naszych miłych gości. Podczas uroczystości Odę do radości, hymn Unii Europejskiej, zaśpiewały klasy 2e – po polsku, 5b – po angielsku i 7e – po niemiecku. Dziewczynki z klasy 7a zaprezentowały tradycyjne polskie stroje ludowe oraz    poczęstowały gości i widownię regionalnym przysmakiem – jabłkami. Klasa 2e z wdziękiem zatańczyła poloneza,

Our guests from Spain visited Radom and found out interesting facts about our city with the help of our teachers - Mrs Marta Kaleta and Mr Bartosz Badeński. The most important, they saw our school, had a chance to talk to our students - in English and - with some of them - in Spanish! They could see the classrooms and other rooms, find out how the school is organised, interesting solutions and compare them with the ones applies in their institution. They took part in a number of working meetings and planned further cooperation within the projects Erasmus+ and PO WER. Nasi goście z Hiszpanii zwiedzili Radom, poznali ciekawostki na jego temat z pomocą nauczycieli naszej szkoły p. Marty Kalety i p. Bartosza Badeńskiego. Przede wszystkim jednak zwiedzili naszą szkołę, mieli okazję porozmawiać z uczniami - po angielsku, a z niektórymi nawet po hiszpańsku! Mogli zobaczyć sale lekcyjne i inne pomieszczenia, poznać organizację szkoły i ciekawe rozwiązania oraz porównać je z tymi stos

Our guests from Spain had a chence to see the lesson on English held by Mrs Anna Dylewska at grade 7c. Active participation by the students and exciting way of delivering the lesson helped the guests find out how we work, what methods we use. They were able to exchange experience useful at realising the projects Erasmus+ and PO WER at the partner schools. Panie z Hiszpanii goszczące w naszej szkole miały okazję obejrzeć lekcję języka angielskiego przeprowadzoną przez p. Annę Dylewską w klasie 7c. Aktywny udział uczniów, przygotowane dekoracje i pomoce dydaktyczne oraz ciekawy sposób przeprowadzenia lekcji pomogły poznać nasze metody pracy z uczniami i wymienić doświadczenia niezbędne przy realizacji projektów Erasmus+ i PO WER w szkołach partnerskich.

During the workshop  Umweltschutz within the project Deutsch Plus, the students of the bilingual class 7e worked on environmental protection area. 3-hours workshop was held by the trainer from Goethe-Institut, Mrs Magdalena Nowak, who made the students familiar with the vocabulary connected with ecology. She encouraged the students to discuss the topic of ecology and sorting rubbish. Our students were very interested in the workshop, showed their language skills. The guests from Spain were able to find out how we work in various areas. Trzygodzinne warsztaty poprowadziła trenerka Goethe-Institut, pani Magdalena Nowak, która zapoznała siódmoklasistów ze słownictwem związanym z ekologią oraz zachęciła do dyskusji na temat ochrony środowiska i segregowania śmieci. Young journalists from Monitor 34, the school magazine, carried out another interesting interview in the series of 'Interview in 34 minutes with...'. The interviewees were two nice ladies from Spain:  Maria del Carmen Zafra Camara and Elisa Pena Acosta,  who came to Poland for a job shadowing visit within the Erasmus+ project realised by their school. The school is a partner of our school in the PO WER project. In the interview led live by Michał Romaniuk from grade 8d and the English teacher, Mrs Sylwia Walkiewicz Carboni their assured that the teacher's  job is fantastic as every single day is different. The first week of October was the time we had a visit of the guests from Spain. It was a great pleasure to host two excellent ladies - Elisa Pena Acosta and Maria del Carmen Zafra Camara. They came to us for job shadowing visit within the projects Erasmus+ and PO WER. They watched the school, its organisation and our ways of teaching, the city and the country. They had a chance to participate in lessons, an interview, trips and other events. They were delighted by our Polish hospitality, professionalism and kindness. On the 1st of October our project PO WER "Bilingualism - Our Way to the Future" started. We have planned teacher training abroad - language and metholdology courses and job shadowing mobilities to the partner schools in Spain and Italy. Apart from mobilities, we have planned on-site English and German courses for teachers of our school, meetings with teachers and management from other schools who would like to take part in some kind of international cooperation and start a project. There will also be contests and school events.
